🥶 Freeze Your Membership

Need a break from climbing? Freeze your upcoming weekly membership anytime.

Freeze & Thaw Rules: Manage your membership’s Active and Freeze status anytime through your ÜG Member Portal.
- Weekly memberships require a minimum 4-week commitment (3 renewal cycles) before canceling or freezing.
- Minimum freeze: 1 week.
- Maximum freeze: There is no limit.
- After unfreezing, your membership must remain active for 2 weeks before freezing again.
- ÜG staff cannot freeze memberships for you—you control your membership through the Member Portal.
- Thaws are available anytime and you’ll pay only the prorated dues for the week.

**Family Membership Eligibility

The Unlimited Family Membership includes:

Up to 2 adults (18+)
Unlimited dependent children
All members must reside at the same household address

Proof of eligibility is required when activating your membership - valid school ID, pay stub, or military ID.

If eligibility cannot be verified, you will be required to pay the difference to the standard membership rate before your membership can be activated. No refunds will be issued if you choose not to provide the required documentation or decline to pay the applicable difference.

🔄 Automatic Renewal

Your membership begins on your selected start date and automatically renews weekly until you cancel according to our membership policies.

📜 Release of Liability Required

All members and guests must complete our Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement ("Waiver") before participating in any activities at Übergrippen. If you choose not to sign the waiver, you will not be permitted to participate, and no refunds will be issued
