ÜberCrushers Training Camp

Get ready to elevate your climbing skills and prepare for the competitive season ahead! This intense, performance-driven summer camp is designed for young climbers who are already committed to their craft—whether they're on a climbing team, part of a weekly climbing club, or training regularly with their parents. Over the course of the camp, athletes will receive expert coaching from Übergrippen’s top-tier staff, focusing on advanced techniques and mental strategies for becoming an elite climber. Plus, participants will experience the thrill of outdoor climbing, putting their skills to the test in real-world conditions. Whether you're gearing up for USA Climbing competitions, Juggerknots Youth Climbing League, or the American Scholastic Climbing League, this camp is the perfect prep for the upcoming season! Please review the following camp requirements before you enroll your climber. Interested Climbers MUST be:

  • Actively enrolled in a climbing team, or
  • Actively enrolled in a weekly climbing club, or
  • Actively climbing with their family at least 1x per week.

This is a Performance Climbing camp specifically designed for climbers, ages 10-18 who are currently climbing team athletes, current climbing club paticipants, or climbers who climb at least 1x per week with their family. All participants should be planning on participating in our Fall TeamGrippen tryouts in August.

Novice climbers SHOULD NOT select this camp option.

This camp is meant to be a full week of training for optimal climbing performance. Athletes attending this camp will be expected to climb and perform with intense physical and mental fortitude, through sore muscles and tender skin. Climbers must have had previous climbing instruction, be belay certified at ÜG and have a clear understanding of climbing technique.

Athletes MUST:

  • Adhere to the UBER Values at all times: Unity, Belief, Excellence & Respect
  • Follow directions & rules (especially with regard to safety)
  • Be coachable
  • Respect coaches and staff
  • Stay focused and attentive
  • Be physically and mentally present
  • Work hard


All participants must have a waiver on file that has been completed and signed by the athlete's parent or legal guardian prior to the start of camp. Athletes will learn how to lead climb and possible belay. All Bouldering, Top Rope and Lead Policy Agreements must be filled out.
