What's Included

Your registration includes everything you need to complete the course and prepare for lead certification.

• 6 hours of professional instruction over two 3-hour sessions
• Full-day climbing admission on each day of the course
• Lead climbing ropes provided during class
• 25% off a new gym-cut lead rope (30m or 40m) when purchased within 14 days of completing the course
• One FREE Day Pass (non-transferable), valid for 14 days after the course so you can return to practice and take your Lead Climbing Certification Test

Prerequisites

To get the most out of this course, participants should already be comfortable with the fundamentals of top-rope climbing and belaying.

• Climbing Ability: Demonstrate the ability to onsight (first attempt, no falls or rests) a 5.10- route on top rope.
• Belay Skills: Demonstrate proficient top-rope belaying using the PBUS method.
• Age Requirement: Participants must be 15 years of age or older.

• ÜG Members: $75
• Non-Members: $110 (includes climbing admission for both days of the course)

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy helps us provide consistent scheduling for our instructors and participants.

• 8+ days notice: Full refund, or you may transfer your registration credit to another class.
• 3–7 days notice: No refund will be issued; however, you may receive a class credit or reschedule for a future session.
• Less than 72 hours notice: No refund, credit, or rescheduling option will be available.

Inclement Weather Advisory

Übergrippen facilities typically remain open during inclement weather. Classes will continue as scheduled unless our staff is unable to safely access the facility or we determine that a closure is necessary.

Please plan to attend any class for which you are registered unless you receive direct communication from us via email, text, or social media indicating that the class has been canceled or the facility has closed.
