Crag Akademie (Learn to Climb)
Join Jr. Crag Akademie (Kids 6-8)Are you looking to get your kid climbing?
Our Jr. Crag Akademie is a 10 week long introductory climbing class for kids 6-8 that introduces safety, bouldering, top rope belaying, and other climbing techniques. Kids that successfully complete this course, demonstrate an excitement for climbing, respect for their coaches, and knowledge of climbing safety (including passing the "belay test") can earn a coaches recommendation making them elgible to join one of our Marmots (ages 6-8) climbing clubs. Highly motivated kids may also tryout for our competitive climbing teams (tryouts occur in January and August).

Our Crag Akademie is a 10 week long introductory climbing class for kids 9+ that introduces safety, bouldering, top rope belaying, and other climbing techniques. Kids that successfully complete this course, demonstrate an excitement for climbing, respect for their coaches, and knowledge of climbing safety (including passing the "belay test") can earn a coaches recommendation making them elgible to join one of our Chamois (ages 9-11) or Ibex (ages 11-14) climbing clubs. Highly motivated kids may also tryout for our competitive climbing teams (tryouts occur in January and August).
