- ÜG Members: $405 for the full 10-week session

Member pricing is available to participants who have an active ÜG recurring or prepaid membership at the time of enrollment.
Akademie Trial Membership
New to ÜG? Non-members enrolling in Crag Akademie can add a discounted 10-Week Trial Membership during registration. While your child is learning new skills and building confidence in Akademie, you can use that same time to climb, work out, take a yoga class, and connect with other ÜG families.
Turn class time into your time too!
Trial Membership Includes:
- Unlimited climbing, fitness, and yoga for 3 months
- FREE Learn to Belay class for members ages 14+
- FREE gear rental for the duration of the trial membership
Trial Membership Pricing:
- Akademie Participant: $125
- One Parent: $295
- Parent + Akademie Participant: $420
- Entire Family: $550 (up to 2 adults and unlimited children in the same household)

What's Next After Crag Akademie?
Kids who successfully complete the course, demonstrate safe climbing habits, pass the Top-Rope Belay Test (demonstrate proper belay technique during 3 separate belay tests), and earn a coach's recommendation become eligible to join one of our recreational climbing clubs:
- Marmot (ages 6–8)
- Chamois (ages 9–11)
- Ibex (ages 11–14)
Highly motivated climbers may also be invited to try out for TeamGrippen, our climbing team, with tryouts held each January and August.
Please note that completion of Crag Akademie does not guarantee placement in a club or team. Enrollment is based on a coach's recommendation and available space. If a program is full, your child will be added to the waitlist and offered the next available opening.
The Fine Print
Belay-Certified Climbers
Children age 10 and under who earn their Top Rope Belay badge may belay other climbers, but they must still have a backup belayer.
- During classes, the backup belayer will be a coach.
- Outside of class, the backup belayer must be another belay-certified climber age 14 or older.
Missed Sessions
If your child misses one or more Akademie sessions, they may receive a complimentary 1-day punch pass, including rental gear.
- No other refunds or credits are available for missed sessions.

Rescheduling Policy
We want every youth climbing experience to be a positive one. If you are unable to attend a scheduled Akademie session, we are happy to try to reschedule your registration for a different date, subject to availability.
- Rescheduling fee: $75 per participant
- Rescheduling is not guaranteed and is dependent on available space in another session.
