Learn to Climb

Learn to BelayHave you always wanted to learn the ropes of climbing? If so, then this class is for you. For the same price you pay for an adult day pass and full equiment rental package you can enroll in a two-hour instructor-led learn to climb class. We will teach the fundamentals that will allow you to come and enjoy our facility on your own. The following will be taught:

- Tying in (figure 8 retrace)
- Top Rope Belaying (using "PBUS" method)
- Climbing terminology
- Gear primer (harnesses, belay devices)

50/50: Beginner Climber Series (18+)

Looking for a great way to break into climbing? Join the 50/50 Climbing Club!

For just 50 bucks you get 4 instructor-led group classes to ease your entry into the sport...and the deal is, if you have 100% attendance, you get a $50 credit toward a new Auto-Pay (EFT) Membership Enrollment or a 6 month prepaid membership.

This club is strictly limited to ADULTS 18 and over who have not previously been a member of Übergrippen.

This is not a regularly occurring class, so book early to secure your spot in the club!
